WIP Wed and a Giveaway....

It's WIP!!!

WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced

Of course...I have little to report.

Seriously.  I am on a new plan tho.  A new schedule.  I'm putting aside time for me.

I am bringing UFO's or WIP's to work with me now and eeking away at them slowly.  See, I have 74 days (72 crafting days) left until Christmas.

Yes peeps, you heard that right.  There are 74 calendar days left until Christmas.  That means everything has to be done before Christmas Eve (when we celebrate on the Dude's side) and I need to get crackin.

BIBS....allll I have left is to put snaps on them. Aren't they pretty???

My BLISS quilt is starting to shape up...I need to trim these little guys:

So they look like these:
Who desperately need to be I can sew them together like this:
for my octagon quilt. (DISCLAIMER: THIS WAS A TEST BLOCK AND IT IS NOT PRESSED that's why it looks so janky) (I love that word!! It has no real meaning!)

I've also been working on the usual suspects:

Which have gone no where.

Still reading??

Welll....It's giveaway time!!!

October is Breast Cancer awareness month and I will be giving away a copy of this book:

It's a gorgeous full color (pink!) book with 50 quilt block patterns, illustrations and over 100 ideas for quilts.

I purchased it as part of a charity event for Breast Cancer awareness and thought it would make a lovely giveaway on the blog.

The giveaway rules are simple:
1. You must be a follower of the blog. (New followers are welcome!)
2. You must not be a no reply blogger. (I have to be able to get ahold of you!)

Simply leave a comment on the blog to enter.  Giveaway closes on Sunday, October 16 at 12 midnight Pacific Standard Time.  I will choose a winner after that and notify you by email!

Good luck!!!

  1. I love those little bibs...especially the one with the tie on it. The book for breast cancer looks very good and interesting. It is very generous of you to give it away. It's a good thing I didn't see this before I gave away breast cancer themed material. On the other hand if I get the book, Might wish I still had it. Well done on all your projects. Must leave now and sign up to follow your blog. :)

  2. Those bibs are awesome! So cute! The tie one cracks me up. Thanks for the giveaway. I'm a new follower. Great work on your WIPs.

  3. I love the bibs too! I also really like your bliss quilt. I am a new follower. Thanks so much for the opportunity to win that book - it looks really nice.

  4. I have also grown accustomed to the flair of those hip bibs. Do they come in adult size?

Thank you for reading my blog and leaving comments....they seriously make my day. Please make sure you are not a no reply blogger so I can comment back! :)
